I'm baaa-aaack. After a brief hiatus I am back to this thing called the blog. I have been missing this a great deal, but so much was occurring. Life had me in a major headlock. I was choking. The list of mishaps are simply too long to relay here, but one of the primary things that had my stomach in knots, is that my checking account was missing all of its funds! Things were literally at a standstill. I couldn't pay rent, I couldn't pay bills, I couldn't do anything! It was sooo frustrating. The customer service at ye bank that shall remain nameless, left much to be desired. They simply were not helpful. They did not make me feel valued as a customer, and I told them as much. I even had to consult a lawyer to get suggestions and results. Needless to say, the situation is still working itself out, but the bulk of the matter is indeed resolved. I shall be waving at ye bank from across the street at the competition, once I close my account and shuffle on over there. ahem. Anyway, I feel so out of the loop here. I have some major catching up to do! I've woken from a long nap and am ready to start kicking up some dirt. Without further ado, look above at the first excerpt from my manuscript, "The Uprising."
