Distances that aren’t extremely vast, still seem to create gaping spaces.

I’m hopeful that the gap will eventually close.

In the meantime, I will sit still for a minute or two, to recollect.

I’ll smile in earnest, as I revisit certain conversations.

It hasn’t been that long, but a mild sense of sentimentality is starting to creep in…
